A Healthy Lifestyle Starts With The Food We Eat

About the Chef

Chef William's Alter ego

I am a retired Executive Chef that has spent most of my life in a kitchen. The adventure with food started in my first foster home. I soon learned that those that work in the kitchen get the best food. I was seven years old and l think my first love affair was with food. We have never drifted apart in all the years that followed.

My goal is to be your online Chef that brings people together and shares foods that you would find at the chefs’ kitchen table. Foods and recipes that are healthy for the mind, body, and soul. Great tasting foods that are grounded to the earth and not filled with man made chemicals.  I will share with you the many recipes and cooking tips I have learned over the years. My work allowed me to travel to many different countries. In the process, I got to try many diffrent foods and get new recipes to bring home. I will be sharing many of those with you as we persue this adventure in Dinning together.

If you are wondering what a chef eats when he has access to all the different foods available, I can only speak for myself. I focus on eating fresh Whole Foods, grass fed beef, free range chicken and wild caught Fish. My Plate is colorful, mostly plant-based, with a focus on whole, real ingredients that I can pronounce. While I do not have a gluten problem that requires me to live gluten-free, I’ve found that gluten and dairy-based foods don’t make my body or mind feel good, so I don’t eat them. It takes a little research but I prioritize the quality of my food and want to know where it comes from and under what conditions it was grown.

Foods become our fuel and our building blocks. We are what we eat and if we are to enjoy life we should eat only the best that nature has to offer. It is up to us to make wise choices. That is what this blog is about. I want to share with you what I have learned along the way as well as some great tasting recipes.

I promise to give you the best information I can find to help us reach our healthy eating goals and to share recipes to help us get there.
